Name: Krystal "Krys" Elizabeth Longbottom
Age: 17
Year: 7th
House: Gryffindor
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: Rosewood and unicorn tail hair, 8 1/2 inches, flexible, good for Transfiguration
Appearance: Krystal is a very different individual when you first lay eyes upon her. She isn't very tall, standing five feet even. But looking at her face, she seems tough, but yet again delicate. Her long brown hair falls to her mid back, and frames her face nicely. She has bright green eyes, a characteristic that seems to have appeared from out of the blue. Her nose is small, and looks like a rabbits, in a way, yet it never twitches. Her lips are luscious, full and pink. Her face is oval shaped, and her jaw is defined. Usually, when not at school, Krystal wears comfortable clothing. She is no trend-setter, whatsoever. If it's comfy and not too revealing, she wears it. Her ensemble is usually sweaters and jeans, and the occasional skirt, if it's not too short. Her feet are adorned in clogs or sneakers. She's sort of a plain-looking girl. She wears little make-up, and what she does wear is feature-flattering. She doesn't wear much jewelry, except for a pair of diamond, birthstone studs, and necklace with a silver "K" on it. When going to balls, her mother takes her out and buys her fancy dresses and shoes, and works long and hard to make her daughter presentable. Krys looks like a normal teenage girl, with the newest hairstyle, and more makeup than ever. Her fingernails are short from chewing them, a bad habit. But her finger and toe nails are always painted funky colors, bright and bold. Her fingers are long and slender, perfect for a piano player. She isn't very voluptuous, but she has curves. She isn't very attractive, but those who know her better disagree.
Personality: Krystal tends to blend in well with her surroundings. She's very plain looking, and she doesn't speak much unless with her friends. She hates to argue with other people, and rarely gets mad at anyone. She is very mellow and calm. One of her favorite things to do is be helpful. She loves helping lost first years, or defending kids being bullied with a spell. Usually, in this situation, all her spell-casting is done from a tree or around a corner. She wants to be helpful, but not involve herself in a way that might put her in a painful position. Her voice is very soft, and if she yells at you, you know you are in major trouble. One could say, she is the spitting image of her father. But smarter. She excels in all of her classes, pulling "Outstanding" and "Exceeds Expectations" in most of her classes. She studies most of her free time. Surprisingly, she doesn't have many of the Gryffindor qualities. She's not brave, and is not likely to voice her opinion when asked, especially when discussing with another person. She tries to avoid confrontation, but not neccesarily at all costs. It is unknown why Krys was placed in Gryffindor. Krys is not the kind of person to hold grudges. Usually, she is teased for not acting as outgoing as everyone else and participating in activities. But she does not tell anyone, just goes on her merry way. Nor does she get angry. Ever. But if she is angry, she holds it in until it escalades to a point where she explodes and screams at everyone unfortunate to be around her at the moment. And not much can make her mad. So if Krys is mad at you, say your prayers.
History/Background (2+ paragraphs): Krystal, or Krys, Elizabeth Longbottom was born to Neville and Ginny Longbottom at St. Mungo's Hospital on March 27th, 1989. She was the oldest of three children, having two younger brothers a few years later. Krys grew up as a normal kid. One parent was always around, while the other faught with the Order. She was always around happiness and praise to the light side, and Dumbledore. She loved the idea, and stuck with it all through school. Krys grew up in a middle class family. They always had enough money for things. They didn't have expensive things, but always had enough to get by, and then some. Krys never went to any school other than Hogwarts. Although she always had such a love for learning, Mr. and Mrs. Longbottom didn't think it would be a good idea for any of their children attending a Muggle elementary school. Especially since Krys seemed to levitate objects when she began bottling up emotions. And since younger children often began frusterated easily, even more so with their peers, the idea was frowned upon, and quickly tossed aside. Krys received her letter at eleven, and her parents were quite excited. Although they assumed she would, what with the floating teacups, it was still a joyous day. Fortunatley, she didn't have to follow in her mother's footsteps and use hand-me-downs, especially since she was the oldest.

Sample RP: Emma retracted her arm to her shoulder, and clutched her wrist with the opposite hand. She chewed on her bottom lip. She didn't understand. There had been a small report on TV about a kid committing suicide at Blair, but she hadn't heard anything more. Blair was supposed to be prestigious, perfect, without problems. So if the teachers or the headmaster said much about it, the students would catch on and it would go back to the parents. Emma knew Blair wasn't perfect. But suicide? That was a serious issue. More serious than drugs? Maybe. But the parent usually didn't care. It wasn't death. Yes, it led to death, but that took time. Suicide killed within minutes, hours. But drugs took longer. Maybe Emma should leave Shay alone, let the effects of the drugs wear off. An even better idea struck her. Let Shay be high in the hall, and Emma could take the stash, put it some place where no one would get them. The police? The dorm adviser? Maybe. They'd get curious, Emma would get in trouble just for trying to help a friend. If she tried to explain, they would wonder who did the drugs. Shay would be in trouble. That plan needed more thought. But now...Shay? she asked carefully. What happened with that kid? The one who committed suicide. Did you know him?
Sorry, it's from another rpg. I hope this isn't too short, I'll be glad to add more!
