Name: Keiko Cho Corner
Age: 16
Year: 6
House: Ravenclaw
Blood: Pure-blood
Wand: 11 Inches, Oak, Unicorn Tale core
Appearance (1+ paragraphs): Keiko Corner looks almost exactly like her mother, Cho, with only a hint of her father, Michael, peering out from her delicate features. With silky dark brown hair that frames her face, she would look almost like her mother's twin if they were the same age. There are just a few differences, and they are hardly noticeable unless you scrutinize the pair of them very closely, which very few people do.
Keiko keeps her beautiful hair cut shorter than her mother's, chopped just at her shoulders. Usually, she wears her naturally-straight layers down, but occasionally pulls her hair back in a ponytail if she needs it out of her face. She doesn't often do anything fancy with her hair.
Although they resemble her father's, Keiko's eyes are pretty much her own. Chocolate-brown and almond-shaped, they always seem to sparkle with laughter. They convey her emotions when she is feeling particularly strongly. Unless she really tries to hide her feelings, it isn't hard to tell what Keiko Corner is thinking.
Keiko has a strong, square jaw like her father, and high cheekbones. Her skin half-Chinese skin is a golden-brown, but not quite as dark as her mother's. She has dark eyebrows and eyelashes, just a shade lighter than her hair. Her teeth are white and straight from a few years with Muggle braces, and she has lips that aren't quite full, but aren't necessarily thin, either. Overall, Keiko has delicate features, beauty added from the half-Chinese part of her.
Personality (1+ paragraphs): Keiko is a quiet girl, and shy when she isn't around her three best friends, Ava, Leslie, and Bianca. Most of the time, she is, and they always make her feel braver, like she could confront the world. People have described Keiko as being 'too nice', but she doesn't believe there is such a thing. She likes being nice to people, talking to 'the new kid', helping out with homework. Unfortunately, she gets walked all over, and doesn't do a thing about it.
Although she has been asked out a few times in the last year or so, Keiko has always refused at once, no questions asked. It simply puzzles her friends, and it puzzles her in a way, also. Keiko is really... afraid, to get too close to anyone that she hasn't known since infancy, like her three best friends. People don't understand her. Despite her tendency to be 'too nice', Keiko likes to have fun, and has a good sense of humor. Only around her best friends, of course. She won't say not to causing a little mayhem in class, as long as she isn't in danger of being suspended or expelled.
History/Background (2+ paragraphs): Keiko was born in London, England, to Cho and Michael Corner on a sunny September day. They took her home, a happy new couple, and loved her with all their hearts, although they did have troubles and very nearly divorced a couple times. Michael was all for spoiling the child, but Cho forced him not too. She didn't want her daughter to be a brat when she grew up, so she didn't give her everything she wanted... But Keiko was a happy baby.
When Keiko was 2, Michael and Cho decided that they desperately wanted another child. At first, it seemed that they would be succesful, but then Cho had a miscarriage. That was one of the times Cho and Michael almost divorced. Michael tried to comfort the depressed Cho, but she lashed out in anger and they were in a huge fight. Keiko was a very confused toddler at that time, but that stormy time soon passed.
Keiko met her three best friends when she was about 4 years old. Ava, Leslie, and Bianca. The four of them became inseperable, and they have been Keiko's lifeline since she met them. They share everything with each other, and they have no secrets.
Keiko was accepted at Hogwarts when she was 11 years old, and her parents were thrilled, considering that they had both attended the school. When she got there, she was simply in awe. She had heard millions of things about the castle, but none of them even came close to describing the true splendor. Keiko loved it, and when her three best friends also were accepted at Hogwarts, she could not have been happier.
Parents: Michael and Cho Corner
Siblings: N/A
Pets: 1 Owl Named Neptune
Likes (4+): Learning, Her Friends, Books, Music
Dislikes (4+): Some Slytherins, Spiders, Dark, Loneliness
Hobbies (5+): Reading, Writing, Singing, Listening to music, Riding horses
Sample RP: Keiko looked around frantically, standing in the middle of who-knows-which corridor, her very heavy bookbag slung over her shoulder. Where on earth was the library? It was rather comical, actually. Keiko Corner had attended Hogwarts for nearly six years, and now she was lost. But it was known that the castle had many secrets, many of which were undiscovered. She must have taken a wrong turn. Or maybe the castle just decided to be mean. Who knew? Keiko only knew that it was a lot more fun to be lost when you were with a friend. Alone, it wasn't so enjoyable.
The sound of voices around the corner urged Keiko to hurry forward, but to her disappointment, it was only a couple of seventh year girls, giggling as they read something on a small slip of parchment. There was no way she was going to ask them where to go. Sighing, Keiko walked past the girls and continued on, now rather boredly. Maybe if she just wandered around long enough, she would get to a place that looked familiar, even if it took her all year. Ava, Leslie, and Bianca had probably been waiting in the library for an hour.
"Keiko!"
Keiko whirled around to see who had called her name, then her face broke into a smile. It was one of her best friends, Bianca, and she was walking toward her, babbling. "Where have you been?" Bianca asked her briskly. "We've been waiting in the library for ages. Did you get lost? Come on, it's just this way."
Saying nothing, Keiko allowed herself to be led on by her friend, loving the fact how Bianca didn't scorn her one bit for being lost. Maybe she wasn't the only one who the castle loved to play tricks on. Keiko listened to Bianca's chatter until they got to the library, where the pair of them joined Leslie and Ava at a table, where everyone's Potions essays were spread out, ready to be finished with the combined efforts of the four of them.
