Name: Taylor Blaire Callahan
Age: 14
Year: 4th
House: Gryffindor
Blood: Half [Our Mother's father was a Muggle]
Wand: 10 1/2 inches ;; Willow ;; Unicorn Hair || Supple, great for Charm work
Appearance (1+ paragraphs): Appearance is something that Miss Taylor Blaire Callahan truly prides herself on. For a fourteen-year-old girl, she's good-looking, and knows it. Long, deep reddish-brown hair cascades in elegant waves to her elbows, and she often leaves it that way. However, if the mood strikes her, she's also liable to put it half-up, a ponytail, braids, straighten it, curl it, etc. Her hair always needs to be perfect- no split ends, no flyaways, nothing frizzy. Merlin forbid there's a strand out of place. A "bad hair day" touches no where near Taylor's vocabulary, but when the day comes, watch out....
Her eyes are a penetrating green. A vibrant, vivid color, they always seem to be gleaming with something. Maybe an idea, maybe a scheme, whatever it is, it's reflected in her eyes. When she's excited, they grow huge, wide, and some have said that they darken a bit in color. And Taylor gets excited pretty often, so it isn't uncommon to see two shining orbs expanding across the top of her face.
Her skin isn't as flawless as she'd like to think, but she masks it well. After essentially finishing puberty by the ripe old age of twelve, it left her with a noticeably attractive body and, miraculously, clear skin. Later, however, the skin would come back to haunt her. Taylor doesn't have acne, but is certainly prone to a breakout every so often, and spends even more time pulling herself together in the mornings than she already does on such a day.
Red, thin lips part to an adorable smile. Her parents have suggested straightening her teeth magically, but she prefers them just the way they are. Small, slightly overlapping, and quite a few teeth give her a slightly lilting feature to her already developed accent. Taylor can often be found displaying her smile around school, as she loves to laugh and grin, and generally have a good time.
Personality (1+ paragraphs): There are quite a few surprising layers to Taylor. In fact, even the Sorting Hat itself had trouble placing her all those years ago! To begin, many would see her as rather intelligent, perhaps not a genius, but far from idiotic. Unfortunately, this is not entirely the case. Taylor scrapes by in school, mainly relying off of friends to help her out when it comes to homework and tests. She's not a complete dunderhead, but school truly does give her some trouble. That would probably be the key factor in her being the only child of her family to not be sorted into Ravenclaw. But she shrugs it off, because she's the baby of the family, and different rules apply to her.
However, despite her lack of stamina in lessons, Taylor happens to be a gifted Quidditch player. She loves the sport to no end-any position, anytime, any place is good enough for her! Taylor has been training at home over the summer, and really wants to be a Chaser on the House team this year, even though she knows that Gryffindor favors Quidditch like no other and many other older, more experienced students will be vying desperately for the same spot. Her aptitude for flight was noticed at the ripe old age of 8, when her elder brother was home for the summer. Excited to see him, she raced out into the backyard for a hug just as he was about to kick off from the ground. She collided with him, bowling him over, and while he landed on the ground-Taylor soared up, up, and away! Few people believe this story, but it's as true as anything!
Beyond school ditziness and a surprising knack for Quidditch, Taylor can be a pretty sweet girl. She's friendly, daring, outgoing-and a little obnoxious at times. Taylor's extremely energetic, loud, and can sometimes crack really lame jokes and then laugh hysterically at them. She loves to party and, not surprisingly, loves to be the center of attention. Secretly, she's a little jealous of how smart Ava and her brother are, but, also secretly, Taylor also enjoys having Gryffindor House to "herself". Taylor loves boys, and is a huge flirt, which many people know. She hates being called "Tay-Tay", and is not afraid to make you aware of that, thank you very much. Additionally, sometimes she gets caught up in Quidditch and/or herself, and can't always make herself there to lend an ear for listening or a shoulder for crying on. That's why she isn't necessarily perfect best-friend material, and so she doesn't have too many. Best friends, that is.
History/Background (2+ paragraphs): Taylor Blaire Callahan was born on July 16 to Christopher Callahan && Nicole Flynn, two loving parents, and Ava && ____, two loving older siblings. They lived in a nice area outside of Dublin, Ireland, and were all happy and comfortable with one another. The area in which the Callahan family lived was not overly populated by Wizards, hence, magic was not used too frequently around the house. A month or so before her elder brother's eleventh birthday, Christopher && Nicole revealed the truth of their nature to the three children. Shortly afterward, her brother recieved his acceptance letter and has been attending Hogwarts ever since.
In her brother's absence, Taylor and Ava grew quite close. Now Ava was the oldest at home, and Taylor looked up to her the most, which she understood. They had fun together and bonded for the two years prior to Ava's acceptance as well. Chris and Nicole sent them to a local Muggle primary school, while he worked at the Ministry. For a while, Nicole stayed home to take care of her children, but once they began growing up a little more, and she could tell that their successes were yet to come, she began to be a Healer's assistant, part-time, at St. Mungo's. There was always enough money, and enough food on the table. The Callahan's weren't filthy rich, but were not poor. They got along just fine.
Then Ava went to school, and Taylor was left to her own devices. She reveled in the attention her parents could devote to her when she was the only one they could possibly devote it to! She made friends at school and was quite popular in her class. Her parents began to worry, though-except for one small display, when she clambered on to her brother's broom and zoomed off, Taylor had yet to display any signs of magical capabilites. She was growing up as a normal Muggle girl-enjoying fashion, makeup, sports, and discovering boys-but the lights didn't flicker when she threw a temper tantrum, sparks never flew out of those fiery eyes, nothing. Her eleventh birthday came and went, with no sign. Her parents were visibly upset, but never said anything to their daughter. Two weeks later, however, the letter came! No one knew for sure what had happened, but it didn't matter. What mattered was that their baby was accepted to Hogwarts! And off Taylor went too. Apparently, she was not designated for as great studious successes as her siblings, and was, at first, heartbroken to learn she was seperated from them, but, upon seeing an entirely different table roaring with applause for her, quickly changed her mind and she skipped off happily to Gryffindoors, or whatever. Taylor soon learned it was Gryffindor, and her favourite class (up until Ancient Runes) was flying. She may not have a head full of school smarts, but she knew she would certainly come to like it there....
Parents: Christopher Callahan && Nicole Flynn
Siblings: Older brother [Ravenclaw, Unnamed] && Older Sister [Ava, Ravenclaw]
Pets: A pure white kitten named Daisy. It was either that or an owl, and, for some inexplicable reason, she chose Daisy instead. However, question her decision, and she'll retort with "You can always use a sibling's owl, or a friend's, or even a school owl, but you can't borrow someone else's kitten!", so maybe it wasn't such a poor decision after all.
Likes (4+): Quidditch, Daisy, Friends, Having Fun, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, Boys, Fall
Dislikes (4+): Foul Weather, Mean People, Not Getting Attention, Classes, Homework, Cockroach Clusters, Rats, Most People From Slytherin House, Canceled Quidditch Matches
Hobbies (5+): Quidditch, Ancient Runes (her one school-related strength, she's practically obsessed), Taking Care of Daisy, Shopping in Diagon Alley && Hogsmeade, Her Appearance, etc.

Not used to being the semi-center of attention, Emily Daniela Lionel had grown extremely nervous. She'd known that her family was rich, and owned an awesome school, and that the Lionels were pretty well-known, but it hadn't really hit her until she'd walked through the crystal-clear double doors and stepped foot in the immaculate lobby. Lissie, her obnoxious sister, had shrieked "EMMY!" and run over to give her a hug. Emily had merely raised an eyebrow and let Lissie almost suffocate her, curious as to the cause of the friendliness. Her sister's idea of bonding was throwing overstuffed pillows at her and pointing perfectly manicured fingers in the door's direction, all while screaming "GET OUT!" and threatening her.
Either way, in a matter of seconds, Lissie's bizarre posse that somehow managed to be everywhere she was, instantly, had swarmed around her. Asking questions, chattering, smiling, even poking-it was all just too much for her. Emily had been carrying a small bag, in addition to her skateboard (she was wearing her helmet) but she just dropped it and fled the scene entirely. People were calling after her, but she was freaking out. In fact, she had attempted to skate over freshly cut lawns several times before she'd realized her wheels kept getting stuck in ruts. She tied her long, sleek blonde hair back, picked up the board, and ran until her legs gave out.
So, somehow, she'd ended up here. On a bench in the "Recreational Fields" (at least, that's what the sign said), exhausted, and kinda sweaty. In fact, she didn't even mind too much that she was alone. Taking her hair out of her ponytail, she subconciously began to braid it, and thought wistfully about how her favourite hat had been brutally dropped on the floor at Lionel. She shuddered a bit. It was so weird, going to a school called her last name...something she couldn't quite adjust to.
Emily pulled her knees up near her, brushing some dirt absentmindedly off her knee. She was in her favorite jeans, ones with slight rips around the knee, due to her wearing them consistently. Her mother would have had a heart attack and died to see her enter school dressed in such a fashion, but, thankfully, she wasn't there right at that moment. She sighed, leaned back, and blew some slight bangs off of her face. Sometimes life could just be so strange!
