Name: Aspen Kennedy Potter Age: Sixteen Year: Sixth House: Gryffindor Blood: Half-Blood Wand: Maple, 11.5 inches, Chimaera Scale
Appearance: Well, lets see about the appearance of Aspen Potter. She's got the blonde hair of her mothers, which is sadly, often changed colors with the handy help of her wand. It usually stays between white blond and dark brown though, sometimes even both colors mixed together. Aspen has never been one to just leave her style and appearance alone, she's been known to always change things about herself. Her hair varies in length, considering she uses her magic to play around with that too. It's either really short, layered around her neck, or it's long and layered around.. well, somewhere around the middle of her torso, give or take some length. Her eyebrows seemed to have been done manually, with muggle tweezers, as Aspen finds that better to use over magic.
Her eyes are a small shape, but quite often they can grow into a large shape, which usually just depends on her mood. The color of them is not always none. You see, she has those dreadful eyes that love to change colors. Sometimes they're a light blue, while other times they can be a shade of hazel, much like her late father's. Something she doesn't like about herself is her nose. She has never been fond of her nose and she wishes she could change it, but she only knows that she doesn't want to be plastic. It's quite pointy and the front of it looks even worse, depending on the tone of her skin. She just doesn't like it. Her lips are full, but not huge, yet they aren't extremely thin either. Aspen considers them to be just right. The shape of her face is what she considers to look like and upside down egg. The bottom of her face ends in a point. While it does good with showing her jawbone, sometimes it makes her look just too skinny and everything.
Aspen's body is nothing extraordinary. She's not fat, yet she's not too skinny for her own good. Her build is slender and her body has a bit of a tone to it, considering she does sometimes take time to play some Quidditch with some of her friends. However, other than that, Aspen is nothing special. With her body having barely and sort of a curvaceous form, she's tended to always try to keep her stomach covered, even though she likes the fact that it doesn't look like a bunch of fact. She's never exactly expected herself too look like a model or anything, but in all honesty, she never expected herself too look so.. plain that even the other plain students looked better than her. At least, that's just what Aspen thinks. With her almost flat bust, she's never expected a guy to try that whole 'you've got big bosoms, I love you for them' with her, which she tends to be very happy about. Her hipbones pretty much protrude though, which isn't anything too unusual to her. She's a healthy teenage girl, who always eats her meals and everything. Aspen just tries to be a little athletic at times. She doesn't exactly have long legs, in fact, her torso appears to be longer than her legs. That's not anything too unusual either though. Of course, she's at a simple height of 5'6", which is average for a girl her age.
Clothing style for her is indeed muggle. She will wear robes at school and sometimes she will wear robes just for the fun of it, but Aspen has always been attached to muggle fashion. She finds it to be ten times better and it seems to separate her from some of the crowd. She's more than likely not the only person wearing any sort of muggle clothing, but then again.. she's probably the one who wears them the most. Aspen enjoys wearing colorful tops and she even dresses with a unique style too. She's never found an issue with what she wears, but some people have. However, she still insists on sporting the muggle fashion, which is definitely what she has done. With jean jackets, spaghetti strap tops, colorful skirts, blue jeans, and even vans. Sometimes she wears that stuff together, while other times she wears just a top with a simple pair of jeans. You could guess that it all just depended on the day, Aspen's mood, and the weather.
Personality: When you first meet Aspen, she comes off as a shy, soft-spoken teenage girl. That's just how she likes it though and even after her first year at Hogwarts, she's never been willing to change that part of her. Some say that she uses it as an act to get away with pranks and such, while others seriously think that she's literally an angel. Well, those that find her to be an angel are so off with Aspen. She uses it as an act, in a way, but before she'd made a couple of muggle friends she'd seriously been that quiet, soft-spoken, and shy girl. The trips to see the muggles were obviously done behind her mother's back though. With her mother worried about what could possibly happen to her, she's never wanted to upset her mother or anything. A bit of a pleaser, you could say. She only wants to make sure that if there were to be a murder scene, that she would be the last suspect of it all.
If somebody takes the time to get to know Aspen, they can find that she's definitely a wild child. Not exactly like her father, yet she's not like her mother either. Sometimes you could say she's a bit of both, but Aspen is indeed her own young woman. She hasn't followed after her mother's oddness and she hasn't quite covered her father's bravery, even though she can be brave. Will James pretty much taking on a major Potter attribute, she's long gone as just an average Potter child. Aspen is hardly ever compared to her brother and parents, but she likes it that way. The teenage girl likes to be known as her own person and not exactly like her parents. Of course, that doesn't mean she doesn't like what she is, she actually enjoys being a Potter, just doesn't see the need to be stereotyped like her family.
Aspen is indeed a rather unique girl, as she's always been into muggle things, ever since she was a young girl. Her mother had always been worried about that, which was odd to know from a certain Mrs. Lovegood-Potter. It seems like her liking for almost everything muggle has progressively grown in the last couple of years, especially since she started Hogwarts at the age of eleven. Muggle studies had captured her interest, therefore, as she got older she always had a thirst for learning about the average muggle life and such. Most consider her to be insane, unless they are muggles themselves, but Aspen just tends to label it as being a simple hobby of hers. Of course, most disapprove of it, with most of those people being pure-bloods, the good bit of 'em stuck up their own butts. At least, that's what she believes.
Now, when Aspen gets around any kind of alcoholic beverage, whether it be sneaking a wizarding world one or stealing a muggle one, she isn't exactly a responsible drinker from then on out, especially when she isn't limited on how many drinks she has, which is probably why she dislikes irresponsible drinkers, which would include herself. It's usually uncommon to see most of the wizards and witches in the wizarding world, but if you knew Aspen, she was almost always getting herself wasted. Since she learned about the nasty stuff, she's always convinced herself that she should stop drinking it, or at least cut down on how much she drinks. However, when does a person actually try that half the time? With the girl being at least a little smart, she's always made sure that she does that on the weekends, seeing as she almost always has a hangover. On the weekends she could sleep in, which would be a perfect solution and everything. Sadly, she hides that from her mother and manages with her siblings. After all, being one of the oldest, she can't be giving her younger siblings the wrong image, can she? Her mother would end up killing her if she did, actually.
While she tries to be a social butterfly, she is nowhere near being that. Aspen finds it hard to make friends, considering a lot of the time people can smell alcohol on her, even when she hadn't drunk anything that day. Apparently, sometimes it's just a little too obvious that the girl takes advantage of having any sort of alcohol in her hands. A problem, of course. She hopes to one day stop it, but the chances of that are starting to become very slim. However, a lot of people find her to be weird. Not like her mother was when she was in Hogwarts, nothing near Miss Lovegood. Aspen is just classified as being a weirdo. Sometimes it can be in a bad way, sometimes not. Usually it just depends on the person's perspective of Aspen. She's nowhere near proud of herself, which tends to end in her not having too much self-confidence, but she isn't exactly disgusted with herself either. Of course, she's still trying to find her place in the world too.
History/Background: Aspen Kennedy Potter was born on July 7th, mainly to Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood. She'd been the second child to the couple about a year after her brother James Potter. She didn't really have a very successful birth, considering she almost died while Luna Lovegood was in labor. You see, while she had still been in the womb, her umbilical cord had been wrapped around her neck and she was premature to go along with that, by about a good month and a half. Sadly, the doctors hadn't realized it until they waited for Aspen to be birthed by Luna. Aspen Potter was a lucky newborn girl, considering the doctors did all that they could do to make sure that Aspen would be born safely and that Luna wouldn't freak out and everything herself. It was a miracle for Aspen to have actually successfully been born, as in reality, she more than likely wouldn't be standing.
Of course, being premature, you couldn't expect the newborn Aspen to be very healthy. She was put into intensive care for what seemed to be like an eternity. The doctors monitored her all the time and Luna visited her quite often. Actually, Luna stayed at Aspen's side through it all. Same will her father, Harry. He was worried about his daughter, yet he just had a small feeling she would grow to become healthy. While Luna wanted to believe that, she couldn't help but sob at the fact that her small newborn baby girl was pale and tended to be quite cold to the touch. After a month or so, probably more time than that, Aspen was free to go home. Once she got home you could expect Luna to watch after her carefully and make sure that she was careful with Aspen, even when she didn't need to be. While she gradually got older she got stronger and she even grew. It was known by now that Aspen would grow to become a very healthy girl. That made Luna very happy, of course.
When Aspen had been two years old, her parents had another child. It had been another girl, which made James to be the only male in the Potter family, besides their father, of course. While Aspen wanted to play with her little sister, she often got herself into trouble for being rough towards her. It wasn't like Aspen wanted to hurt her or anything, she just didn't quite understand that she could possibly injure her younger sister, or even kill her. She was like any average two year old toddler that just wanted to cause havoc everywhere they went. Actually, Aspen tended to be much worse about it. Her mother didn't have the heart to punish her though, which led to having Harry punish Aspen the most. Of course, she didn't like having her father punish her over her wanting to just harmlessly play with her sister. Sometimes she was even scared of her father, even though he never abused her or anything. Harry just made Aspen very intimidated.
Another baby came into the family when Aspen was four years old. It was another boy that time, which evened their family out with genders. Of course, she wanted to play with him too. Again, there came more trouble and more punishments from her father. Considering the fact that her younger sister had gotten older, of course, she was free to play with her a lot more. Her parents still had limits for Aspen, considering she was still older and tended to still be dangerous. She often played with James too, but he liked to pinch her a lot. Her parents were never excited to hear Aspen crying from that. The young toddler had a very high-pitched cry. She often shrilled and everything else too, so it caused a lot of racket and it even gave her parents' a headache a lot of the time. It didn't take long for her brother to find out that he shouldn't do it again though, at least, that's what she's always thought. While her parents started to help her learn some things academic-wise, her father did a mistake to interest her in the wizarding world.
About a year after her younger brother had been born, Harry Potter had passed away. It probably wasn't even a whole year though. It made Aspen sad and she knows that her other siblings and even her mother had to of been heartbroken by their loss. She loved her father deeply, so knowing that she would never see him again didn't make her too much of a happy duck anymore though. Of course, it would be like her to act brave around her mother and younger siblings. She helped with what she could, even when her mother told her that she didn't have to. The thing was, that even when she didn't have to at the age of five she knew that it would be hard on her mother to take care of all four of her children. Even with her father still living the both of them had always had a hard time taking care of their children. They were fine with money, especially when her mother helped with The Quibbler, then was given the editor position of the magazine, after her father had passed away. Harry had been.. well, an auror and a devoted father, so he hadn't always been home. However, the night he died.. he didn't go down by himself.
Once Aspen had turned eleven years old she had gotten her own acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Of course, with James being the oldest, he had gotten his a year earlier than Aspen had received hers. That wasn't too uncommon though, considering she was indeed a year younger. Her mother was proud, but she had been expecting her eldest daughter to be accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding. It wasn't unlike Luna to send her daughter off, after getting the things that she needed. An excited Aspen started her first year, but with a challenge. She was too shy to make friends, even when rarely her brother would try to introduce her to some new people. Of course, after a while he had just given up with that, thinking his sister would never make any friends. Aspen had been sorted into Gryffindor, which surprised her. She didn't know her reasons for being sorted into the house of bravery, but she hoped that she would find out soon enough. Five years later and after getting introduced to a lot of things, she still has no idea why she was sorted into Gryffindor. Maybe it was just sheer luck that sorted her into the former house of her late father's? Now all of her siblings attend Hogwarts. Aspen only hopes that her younger siblings do well and not end up like her.

"You're a junior?!"
Terrah couldn't help herself from laughing at that. She heard that from people, a lot, so it was anything new for her to hear. Actually, even from the beginning she had found it quite funny to see a person's reaction. Of course, she was very comfortable with herself and that couldn't have been mistaken one bit. She smiled, a quick chuckle slipping out into the air. She quieted herself down, for the reason of hoping a teacher hadn't happened to be walking through the halls. When she heard the small click of the door shutting, it seemed to make her feel even more comfortable with the whole thing. Terrah had a laptop that she could have easily used, but instead she didn't want to be stuck in her room, but the computer lab was just as bad. Her dorm wasn't too fun, even though she did have her own area in the shared dormitory.
"I'm sorry, that was really rude of me."
She smiled and simply shook her head, "Don't worry about it, it happens all the time." she said, her tone hinting that she obviously didn't care that she'd just been mistaken as a freshmen student. Actually, sometimes it often made her feel better to hear others say that she couldn't be a junior, or not believe her even when she flashes them her ID. She even thought about flunking the year at Blair, just so she could stay an extra year, but then she'd probably kicked out and her father would more than likely kill her too. Her grades couldn't ever be below a C, even a C- would drive her father off the wall. He didn't want her to be a lawyer or anything, but he sure as heck didn't want to see his daughter on the verge of becoming a vagabond. Terrah just continued to smile at Audrey, "I don't think hearing that ever becomes old though. You don't know how much I enjoy hearing that though, even though most would consider themselves to have been insulted by it. Don't worry about that though, I'm far from being like that." she said.
"I'm Audrey by the way. Audrey Maldunno and unfortunately, I'm only a freshmen."
Some-what of a grin was apparent on Terrah's lips as she heard the girl introduce herself as a freshmen girl by the name of Audrey Maldunno. Her grin lightened to a friendly smile, "Nice to meet ya, Audrey Maldunno. I love that name; Audrey. Such a lovely name, wish I would have been named something like that. So pretty." she said, just talking continuously about the girl's name. Yeah, she did have a bit of an obsession with the name Audrey, honestly. She just loved it though, but then she found it to be highly uncommon too. Not everybody had those names. Most had names like Ashley, Jessica, Jennifer, etc. Terrah giggled absent-mindedly, "You're a freshmen? See, in all honesty, I would have never guessed that. I thought you were like a junior, maybe even a senior." she said. That was the truth too, she hadn't expected Audrey to have been a freshmen, at all.
"I'm really, really, really sorry about my earlier comment. I was just surprised to hear that you're a junior since you look like you could be in my year."
Hearing that again made her laugh, but it wasn't anything for a person to worry about. She shook her head, "Don't worry 'bout it, it's alright. Yeah, I've been told that a lot. Mainly from my height, but then most say I tend to sometimes have this childish look in my face a lot.. which I don't understand, but oh well. I don't get mad about being thought of as being a freshmen or anything though." she said, obviously meaning it. She couldn't count how many times she had had to repeat that to others. It would probably take her forever to just figure out half of the people. But like she said before; it didn't bother her or anything, she was completely fine with it. Terrah brushed back the hair that hung in her face, but it fell back. She couldn't do much about it, which was one of the reasons she wore headbands a lot -- they helped her keep her hair out of her face. If she wasn't wearing one, more than half of her face would be covered, compared to the eye with a headband.
"Mind if I join you? I'm supposed to finish up some homework and my laptop is dead."
She shook her head when she heard that, "No, I don't mind at all. You are very welcome to join me. I always love it when I have the chance to talk to somebody new. I haven't done too much of that since I came to Blair." she said. Terrah smiled, "Yeah, I'm working on an essay for Spanish class. Although, sadly, I don't remember the assignment, so I'm just piddling around online. I'll have to ask my teacher about it tomorrow or something. Well, actually, tomorrow is Saturday. I guess I will have to wait until Monday then." she absent-mindedly explained. She went ahead and sat down on the seat, glancing up at Audrey, "Have any plans after you finish your homework? And, you don't have to answer this question, just for the record. I'm perfectly fine with not receiving an answer, if you choose not too." she said, blabbering yet again.
